Saudi Arabia to help Egypt set up 3 field hospitals

The Philippine Star

RIYADH (Xinhua) - Saudi Arabia's King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz ordered on Saturday to send medical equipment and personnel to Egypt to help set up three field hospitals, Saudi Press Agency reported.

The medical aid is aiming to ease the pressure that Egyptian hospitals now face in light of the bloodshed taking place there, an official source told the agency.

The order came one day after the Saudi king announced his country's support to Egypt in its fight against "terrorism."

He said Egypt's stability is being targeted by "haters," warning that anyone interfering in Egypt's internal affairs is "igniting sedition."
