The Ultimate Multimedia star was in hot water after her hosting stint during the coronation night of Binibining Pilipinas. Toni hosted the pageant alongside Xian Lim on Sunday night at the Araneta Coliseum.

Some netizens were irked with her comments especially during the question and answer portion while others claimed to be extremely entertained by the jesting remarks and by the wit and the spontaneity she showed.
In one scene, Toni subtly implied how all the Binibinis had the same answer when asked about how they feel - "happy and excited."
Xian ( To Teresita “Winwyn” Marquez): How are you feeling ?
Winwyn : I am excited and happy
Toni: They are all excited and happy. The feeling is mutual for all of them.
She also made a ridiculed remark when Pia Wurtzback, hailed as the new Miss Universe-Philippines, said that she did not expect the support that she was getting during the competition.

Also declared as winners were Janicel Lubina (Bb Pilipinas-International), Rogelie Catacutan (Bb Pilipinas-Supranational), Christi Lynn McGarry (Bb Pilipinas-Intercontinental) and Ann Lorraine Colis (Bb Pilipinas-Tourism).
