MANILA, Philippines – Lebanese TV host Rima Karaki deserves a round of applause for taking down a sexist who just does not know how to give respect to women.

One day before the commemoration of International Women’s Day, Rima Karaki had her perfect empowering moment.

For Lebanon’s Al Jadeed, Karaki interviewed Hani Al-Seba’I, a London-based Islamist scholar, to discuss reports of Christians joining ISIS.

In the interview, Al-Seba’I seemed to be going off the topic. When the anchor attempted to politely get him to stay on-topic, the interviewee said, “Listen. Don’t cut me off. I will answer as I please. I will not answer the way you like, because I’m here to serve the idea in which I believe.”

But that was not the worst part yet. Al-Seba’i went on ranting about how he wants the interview to be done and said “Are you done? Shut up so I can talk.”

He went on and called the anchor despicable names, before Karaki interjected: "In this studio, I run the show."

When Al-Seba’i said that it was beneath him to be interviewed by a woman, Karaki shut him down like a boss by cutting the transmission.

With Karaki’s hand held her hand up in the air, she ended the heated argument saying “Either there is mutual respect, or the conversation is over.”

Now, the next time you’re going to try to tell a woman how she should run her job, it better be not a woman like Karaki.

Netizens took to social media to share their praises toward Karaki:
