Video of blind girl singing 'Wrecking Ball' goes viral

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - A three-minute video of a visually impaired girl singing "Wrecking Ball" by controversial pop star Miley Cyrus broke out on social media on Wednesday and immediately went viral.

The video showing the girl in school uniform singing while reading the lyrics on Braille was uploaded by a certain George Doton. It was viewed over 9,000 times in less than 24 hours, and started gaining over 2,000 views every hour on Thursday morning.

Comments on the video were overwhelmingly positive, mostly raving about the girl's singing talent, which some say is even better than Cyrus'.

"BRAVO! That's phenomenal talent. Reading with Braille and sing at the same time. Saludo ako sa iyo kid!" a user commented.
