Ginebra coach, cagers impress students

-

Barangay Ginebra coach Siot Tanquingcen and players Jay-Jay Helterbrand and J. C. Intal were the guests on the “hot seat” in a simulated press conference before more than 250 students from 26 schools all over the country at the UST Varsitarian’s 13th National Campus Journalism Fellowship called “Inkblots” in the jampacked Thomas Aquinas Research Complex Auditorium on España last Saturday.

It was Tanquingcen’s second appearance as a guest in the yearly forum. He came for the first time in 2006. “Inkblots” is widely considered the country’s most prestigious platform for school writers to gather and learn from pillars of the media industry. Since 1999, “Inkblots” has been a popular assembly point for campus journalists to interact with experts speaking on the different aspects of writing. Video by Cris Cayanan
