NCAA unveils Season 87

MANILA, Philippines – This video contains highlights of the official launch and press conference of the coming 87th NCAA basketball competition at the ABS-CBN headquarters in Quezon City.

The country’s oldest collegiate league will have its traditional opening rites on July 2 at 1 p.m. at the Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City. According to Tamayo, no less than Filipino boxing icon Manny Pacquiao will grace the event as guest speaker.

Three games are lined up on opening day. Defending champion San Beda clashes with host Perpetual at 2 p.m., San Sebastian takes on Jose Rizal at 4 p.m., and Letran faces Mapua at 6 p.m.
