American fugitive nabbed in Bacolod

BACOLOD CITY, Philippines — The National Bureau of Investigation apprehended a 50-year-old American fugitive in his rented house at Olympia Village in Barangay Alijis, this city, Friday morning.

NBI special agent Arnel Pura identified the suspect as Kent Thomas Kuszajenski, known as Arnold Alex Stevens in Bacolod, who was wanted for a sexual offense in Minnesota, United States.

Pura said Kuszanjenskit will be deported to the US in one week, adding that they transported the suspect to the Bureau of Immigration in Manila Friday afternoon, where he will be detained until his deportation.

Kuszajenski had been hiding in Bacolod for eight years, and had been operating a call center here, added Pura.  (FREEMAN)
