CEBU, Philippines - A three-hour fire gutted the Foodman supermarket in Silay City, Negros Occidental at around 8 p.m. on Sunday.
The fire started at the grocery section of the supermarket and spread to other areas, such as the bakery, drug store and snack bar. It was put out at around 11 p.m.
The city's Bureau of Fire Protection has yet to determine the approximate amount in damages, which was initially estimated to reach millions. Investigators also have yet to determine the cause of the fire. (FREEMAN)
