DUMAGUETE CITY, Philippines – The 302nd Infantry Brigade of the Philippine Army based in Tanjay City, Negros Oriental will have Col. Allan Martin as its new commander, replacing Brig. Gen. Francisco Patrimonio.
According to Maj. Cresenciano Gargar of the 302nd IBde, Maj. Gen. Emmanuel Baladad, 3rd Infantry Division chief, will be the guest of honor and speaker during the turnover of command at the 302nd IBde camp on Wednesday.
Martin, a member of PMA Class ’83, came from the Training and Doctrine Command of the Philippine Army, while Patrimonio will be assigned assistant commander of the 3rd ID based in Jamindan, Capiz.
The 302nd IBde is the mother of all Army units in Negros Oriental and in some parts of Negros Occidental. (FREEMAN)
