TAGBILARAN CITY, Philippines – The month-long celebration of the Blood Compact, known as Bohol Sandugo formally launched 25 years back, was concluded yesterday with the streetdance competition that was won by the Bohol Island State University (BISU)-Clarin town campus.
The BISU-Clarin contingent received from Bohol Sandugo Foundation a cash prize of P300,000 for the title, and also bagged the Best in Production Design prize of P45,000, over five other contenders this year.

The mardi gras started from the seaport in the city and went through three kilometers to the Pres. Carlos P. Garcia Sports Complex where the grand competition was held. While the parade was going on, a sky dive exhibition awed thousands of spectators lining up the streets.
The participation of Kapuso GMA 7 celebrities, Dion Ignacio, Bianca King and others spiced up the street dance show, while Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes as well as fireworks entertained the crowd at the complex.
Governor Edgar Chatto and wife Pureza and City Mayor Baba Yap and wife Jane graced the event along with Reps. Rene Relampagos (1st dist), Aris Aumentado (2nd dist) and Arthur Yap (3rd dist), and BSF president Mariano Uy.
