WORK ISSUES. The EAR overheard this conversation between a female employee and her boss after the three-months paid maternity leave for women was signed into law.
Employee: “Boss, buntis ko. I want three months of paid leave.”
Boss: “Ayaw pagbinuang diha!”
The EAR later found out the boss was also the employee’s boyfriend.
