Currently making the rounds of Pinoys in the US is the following text joke about Erap and Binay.
ERAP to BINAY: Ngayon ko lang napansin, Jojo, we have a lot of things in common pala. Naging MAYOR KA. Naging mayor din ako.
DOKTORA asawa mo, doktora din asawa ko. May naging KABIT ka, may naging kabit din ako. Nag VP ako, ngayon VP ka na rin, NAKULONG AKO, MAKUKULONG KA RIN.

While some senators continue to fire at Jojo Binay, the vice president also continues to ignore them and do things that enable him to score pogi points. Last Monday, he was in Mindanao turning over housing units to calamity victims. Earlier, he was in Tondo doing the same thing. Like I said, Jojo sure knows where to butter his bread.

Most acacia trees, he said, were planted near government buildings like hospitals, school, and public markets.

"Kanang mga nahibilin nga mga acacia angay unta nga preserbahon," he said. Because they are part of the Filipino-American history. He said every time he sees an acacia tree he is reminded of their connection to our history ("sa ilang kalambigitan sa atong kasaysayan").
