Aborted supergame

DISGUSTED. A basketball loving medical doctor left his clinic for three days to see the much publicized game in Manila between the Gilas Pilipinas and an NBA selection. The game did not push through and the players of both teams spent the night of July 22 "playing nonsense" to quote the doctor who was disgusted.

WASTEFUL. "It was a wasteful experience," he told an Ear informer, his friend. "It was a waste of time, money and effort." He did not wait for the refund promised on tv. "Imagina ang 20,000 fans mo-claim sa refund, di ba lamok-lamok ang mahitabo ana?" The organizers should have ascertained first the NBA rules for the players to observe, he added.

APOLOGY. Sir MVP the main man behind the great project has apologized for the scuttling of the games. The doctor who was disgusted has been appeased.
