How about scrips or centavo paper bills?

SCRIP MONEY. Would you believe that many people don't give any value to the 10 and 25 centavo coins? Pay the jeepney conductor these coins for fare and they'd arrogantly ask you: "Kuwarta ba na?" a retired Central Bank official in Manila said maybe paper bills in small denominations like scrip bills would be more respectable than the centavo coins.

ACCEPTED. There was a time when the Central Bank issued scrips or small denomination paper bills and they were more respected than the small denomination centavo coins. "Mas sayon gunitan sa mga jeepney konduktor," said some people. And they look like "real money than the 10 or 25 centavo coins."
