TRASH IN TRANSIT. Some years ago, a resident of an uptown barangay in Cebu City reported to The Ear a certain barangay official illegally dumps his trash in another barangay. The resident said the official drives up to a private street and then takes out his trash, usually several bags of garbage, then just puts them on the side of the road. The resident said he is familiar with the official as he is a famous personality.
STILL AT IT. The resident told The Ear informer that he thought the official had stopped after he was featured in The Ear, but this was not the case. Lately, he has returned to again dump trash in the same barangay. There is a change; the official is now occupying a higher position.
