Patriotic PUJ driver

PATRIOTISM. A schoolteacher who commutes by PUJ from her residence in Pardo to the city proper four times day, told The Ear she had “encountered a patriotic driver” in one of her trips to the city. “Ako siyang giila nga patriotic kay samtang nagdrayeb siya nag sige siya'g pahinumdom sa iyang mga pasahero sa ilang katungdanan kalabot sa eleksyon,” the teacher said.

VOTE BUYING. Among other things, the driver, according to the teacher, reminded his passengers about “the evil of vote-buying.” She quoted the driver as saying: “Ako mga higala, pobre. The teacher said she noted some of the passengers nodding in apparent agreement.
