Man caught 'having pot'

CEBU, Philippines - A 24-year-old man was arrested Wednesday night for allegedly smoking marijuana in an open space in Barangay Lawaan I, Talisay City.

The police authorities were conducting patrol in the area when they saw suspect, James Bacalso, park his motorcycle in a gasoline station and smoke.

During confirmation, it was found out that Bacalso was smoking marijuana, prompting officers to arrest him.

Bacalso was driving his motorcycle from Toledo City and parked it near a gasoline station, according to authorities.

The suspect is facing charges for violation of the Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.  (FREEMAN)
