CEBU, Philippines - Steady increase of enrollment in Lapu-Lapu City College achieved over a thousand college students since its establishment in the year 2011.
Mayor Paz Radaza informed the public that the institution produced 177 Baccalaureate Degree Holders last March.
With the newly furnished LLCC building in Barangay Gun-ob, another 665 students under the College of Education have occupied the 15 classrooms.
Radaza added that the institution was granted authority by the Commission on Higher Education to offer Education Courses that has English, Music, Arts, Physical Education and Health (MAPEH) and Elementary Education with specialization in Early Childhood Education and General Education.
"There is no need for you to worry", the Mayor said.
She stated that 75 percent of the faculty members in LLCC have doctoral or masteral degree.
"Our proffessors have substantial experience in the academe", she said.
Part time District Supervisors are hired to handle major subjects aside from the full time teachers that are qualified board passers according to Radaza.
Additional computers and IT equipment for the LLCC's Computer Laboratory is planned to be purchased to ensure the school's high quality of education. (FREEMAN)
