CEBU, Philippines - More than P300,000 worth of suspected shabu was seized from a level two drug pusher during a buy-bust operation conducted against him inside his residence in Sitio Saac, Barangay Buaya, Lapu-Lapu City past midnight yesterday.
Renjen Casio, a resident of the area, was caught in the act of selling a large pack of suspected shabu to a police decoy using a P1,000 marked money on top of boodle money.
Aside from the large pack worth P18,000 bought through buy-bust, another 12 pieces of large packs of crystalline powder believed to be shabu were recovered from his possession, including shabu paraphernalia and P4,000 cash.
Police Senior Inspector Rogelio Pineda of the City Intelligence Branch of the Lapu-Lapu City Police Office said Casio 's arrest came after they received a call from a concerned citizen informing them of the suspect's illegal activities in their place.
Pineda said Casio can dispose more than 200 grams of shabu per week.
