CEBU, Philippines - A man, believed to be killed by one of his friends, was found dead after the Rampada event of the recently held Kadaugan sa Mactan in Lapu-Lapu City.

Jason Basas, 20, a resident of Barangay Pajo was found dead Sunday at the back portion of PTT Oil Depot.

Initial investigation led by SPO1 Allan Pantaleon of Lapu-Lapu City Police Office Homicide Section revealed Cesario Pogoy, security guard on duty at the GMC Oil Depot, reported that he heard noises around 4:30 in the morning but that he didn't bother to respond.

When Pogoy was doing his rounds of surveillance in the area around 5:30, he was shocked when he found a dead body of a man at the dark portion of the oil depot. He immediately reported the incident to the police.

The victim gained three wounds on the neck and one on his left chest resulting to his death.

The suspect was identified as Sandro Piscalla, 27, also a resident of the mentioned barangay. He surrendered to Police Station 3 in Barangay Gun-ob around 11 a.m. and sought the accompaniment of Pajo Barangay Captain Junard "Ahong " Chan because of fear.

Police Senior Inspector Wilbert Parilla said Sandro has a pending warrant of arrest for committing murder and is one of the most wanted persons in the station.
