Early yearend bonus for Mandaue workers
CEBU, Philippines - City Officials and employees of the Mandaue City government will soon receive their yearend cash incentives.
The city council has approved in mass motion an ordinance which grants the release of additional benefits for city officials and employees.
City officials and regular employees who are receiving P10 ,000 and above will each receive a yearend incentive equivalent to a month’s salary while regular employees and job order employees who are receiving P10,000 and below will each receive P10,000.
The Clean and Green program and Barangay Health Nutrition Workers will each receive P5,000.
The ordinance was authored by city councilor Diosado Suico, the chairman of the committee on appropriation budget and finance.
Suico said the granting of an early year-end bonus would enable workers to send money to relatives in areas devastated by typhoon Yolanda.
“Bisan na lang pinaagi unya niini, makatabang sila ngadto sa ilang mga kaparyentihan nga nabiktima ni Typhoon Yolanda kay naa man sila’y grasya nga nadawat†Suico said. — (FREEMAN)
