Three Comelec JO workers face suspension, dismissal?

CEBU, Philippines - The job order employee of the Commission on Elections (COMELEC) who figured in a fistfight with a reporter of radio station dySS who is also a correspondent of the Cebu Daily News could be suspended or dismissed from work if found guilty of misconduct.

Edgar Paulin and two other job order employees the city government has yet to identify might face suspension or dismissal from service if proven guilty of misconduct by the city legal office headed by lawyer Giovanni Tianero.

“I-investigate pa na siya to see if indeed naay mga participation nga mo-constitute og misconduct with other JOs then i-sanction pud sila appropriately,” Tianero said.

“I-assessed nato unsa ilang justification kun naa ba sila’y saktong excuse, basin pud diay na-provoke sila depende na na,” Tianero said.

He said that before the contract of a job order employee is renewed, his department head will evaluate his performance.
