Man, 61, arrested for abusing girl, 6

CEBU, Philippines - The police in Talisay City on the strength of a warrant arrested a 61-year-old man who allegedly sexually molested a six-year-old girl last Wednesday evening in Minglanilla town.
PO2 Violeta Godinez of Talisay City Police Station Woman and Children Protection Desk (WCPD) said that last July the girl and her mother filed a case in the city prosecutor’s office.
Godinez said the man was the live-in partner of the girl’s grandmother.
She said the girl told her the man threatened to kill her if she told anyone about being abused sexually. (FREEMAN)
