Drainage project prioritizes Basak in Lapu-Lapu

CEBU, Philippines - The Lapu-Lapu City Government listed Barangay Basak as a priority area for the implementation of the drainage project before the end of this year and early next year.

Basak Barangay Captain Isabelo Darnayla said Mayor Paz Radaza assured him to support the barangay in the implementation of the drainage project.

Darnayla said Barangay Basak is one of the lowland areas in the city that get flooded easily during a heavy downpour.

Darnayla used to be identified with the opposition, but joined Radaza’s camp last year. He said the mayor has supported his projects for the barangay.  (FREEMAN)
