Girl, 15, scammed
CEBU, Philippines - Just how did two gay men effortlessly make a 15-year-old girl give up her money and gadgets to them?
Nichol Plaza, 16, said she was waiting for a jeepney ride last Friday in barangay Labogon, Mandaue City when a man approached her and asked for directions.
“Maluoy ka nako. Kuyugi ko kay tagaan tika ug P500,†the man said.
At a gasoline station, another man joined their company and talked about getting a discount on a car for rent and that he was leaving some money he was carrying wrapped in paper to the girl on the condition she handed over her bag as guarantee she wouldn’t run away.
Plaza said she sensed she was being hypnotized the reason she handed over her bag containing P100, an ipad, a cellular phone, and a ring.
She said in return she just got pieces of paper.
