CEBU, Philippines - The Provincial Intelligence Branch (PIB) arrested Wednesday an alleged drug pusher in a buy-bust operation afternoon in barangay Sabang, Danao City.
A team led by SPO1 Francis Alen Villamor arrested Alberto “Al†Hermosilla, 49.
PIB seized alleged shabu from Hermosilla with a street value of almost P30,000, the marked money used in the operation, a digital weighing scale, and bank deposit slips.
The shabu was taken to the Philippine National Police Crime Laboratory-7 in Camp Sotero Cabahug in Cebu City.
Hermosilla was being watched for three weeks before operatives carried out the operation.
The suspect no longer resisted the arrest due to surprise right after he handed a medium packet of shabu to a poseur buyer.
Hermosilla is alleged to have the capacity to dispose of 50 grams of shabu in a week within the city.
He was once detained at the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) after being arrested by the Danao police for illegal drugs.
He was released in 2008 after his case was dismissed.
Hermosilla is now detained at the Consolacion police stockade. (FREEMAN)
