CEBU, Philippines - One of the two men suspected of robbing two stores last Thursday was arrested at his residence in Purok 1 in barangay Nangka, Consolacion town last Friday evening by the City Intelligence Branch (CIB) of the Mandaue City Police Office.
Kevin Cortes alias “Turko†or “Macmac†was positively identified by the victims as one of two men on a black motorcycle who robbed them Thursday.
The suspects first robbed Francisco Cortes, owner of Quito Enterprises, located in barangay Maguikay.
Eleven minutes later, they robbed Jerry Andrino, owner of JBS Store in barangay Casuntingan.
The police seized from the two men were alleged shabu and the motorcycle allegedly used in the commission of the crime.
They are now detained at the Centro police station pending the filing of robbery charges against them. (FREEMAN)
