Couple robbed while asleep
CEBU, Philippines - A couple in sitio San Roque, barangay Tungkil in Minglanilla town woke up Monday morning to find close to P100,000 worth of their personal belongings missing.
Spouses Maryniza and Alfredo Embajador woke up at around 5 a.m. and realized they were robbed.
They lost a Neo netbook, an Acer netbook, a 14k wedding ring, a silver bracelet, a Samsung cellular phone, a Sony Ericson cellular phone, a Timex wristwatch, a silver wristwatch, two pairs of Nike shoes, a knapsack containing a charger, headphones, a company identification card, and photocopies of the registration of a motorcycle.
The screen of the back door was destroyed, presumably the first step taken to gain entry into the apartment, the police said.
Not one in the neighborhood noticed the break-in, police said. (FREEMAN)
