SMB Clinic opens
CEBU, Philippines - The San Miguel Corporation (SMB) opened its SMB Community Clinic in barangay Tipolo, Mandaue City last Monday.
It aims to provide health care to residents of Mandaue.
The clinic is the fourth one in the country.
SMB officials led by SMB Brewery Inc. president Roberto Huang and Mandaue City Mayor Jonas Cortes inaugurated the clinic which is located across the 45-year-old SMB Plant, the city’s leading landmark .
Other SMB Community clinics are located in Valenzuel City, San Fernando City, and Sta. Cruz, Davao del sur.
The clinic will offer free services to hypertensive and diabetic patients endorsed by clinics in barangays Tipolo, Banilad, Casuntingan, and Cabancalan.
The clinic is open from Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 12 noon for a free checkup and medicines.
The clinic is manned by a full-time doctor and a nurse. (FREEMAN)
