CEBU, Philippines - A jobless man was arrested Thursday afternoon in Zone Sikwa in barangay Paknaan, Mandaue City for stealing a mountain bike valued at P160,000.
Bike owner Rommel Begares, 33, a seaman, arrested James Paul Cauban, 28, married, jobless, of barangay Carreta, Cebu City after catching him in the act of stealing his bicycle.
As alleged, Cauban entered a boarding house but a boarder who caught him inside the house screamed for help.
As Cauban was getting out of the house through the gate, he grabbed a mountain bike.
Begares however saw Cauban and gave chase, caught up with him, and arrested him with the help of bystanders.
Cauban was turned over to the police. (FREEMAN)
