Brenda Batuto - The Freeman

CEBU, Philippines -  The national road in Talisay City is expected to be overcrowded when the Cebu south Coastal Road (CSCR) is closed for the national thanksgiving mass for San Pedro Calungsod on November 30.

City of Talisay-Traffic Operation Development Authority (CT-TODA) consultant Tronan Lastimosa told Banat News (sister publication of The Freeman) that on this date traffic enforcers as well as village watchmen will be at the national road.

Traffic enforcers will cover areas from the boundary of barangay Linao to Minglanilla town and from Bulacao to Cebu City.

Lastimosa encourages motorists to leave their vehicles at home during the national thanksgiving mass to avoid problems.

He said 30 buses, provided by bus companies, will take passenger to and from the San Pedro Calungsod Template.

The buses are available from the template down to front of the Talisay City hall. (FREEMAN)
