CEBU, Philippines - Cebu first district congressional aspirant Gerald Anthony “Samsam” Gullas, grandson of incumbent first district Representative Eduardo Gullas, has been going around the barangays in the district.
Last Friday afternoon, Gullas attended the gatherings of farmers in barangay Candulawan, Minglanilla town, which he promised to extend livelihood programs once he gets elected.
Since the water irrigation in the area already exists, Gullas promised to donate pumps as well as tubes.
The irrigation project, courtesy of the National Irrigation Administration, benefits farmers in the area.
“It’s what I’ve been doing now. Going around in all barangays in the district and asking what their priorities are. That is why I go to each barangay in the district to know how can I help once I’m in a position to help,” Gullas said.
Gullas is running for congress unopposed under the Nacionalista Party. (FREEMAN)
