Lapu-Lapu wishes to use tax from MCIAA to battle malnutrition
CEBU, Philippines - Lapu-Lapu City Mayor Paz Radaza yesterday admitted the city government lacks funds to implement programs that aim to address malnutrition.
During her regular press conference yesterday, Radaza said the reason why the city is applying pressure on the Mactan Cebu International Airport Authority to pay what it owes the city is because of the need to set all the health programs in motion. Because of limited funds, only a few had been implemented.
Another reason is that the city lacks classrooms. (FREEMAN)
