CEBU, Philippines — Tofil Finishing grinded through a 60-57 win over Stopgap Sealants in their sudden-death final match to emerge as champion of the Architects+Engineers Basketball’s Buildrite Cup 2023 at the Cebu Port Authority (CPA) gym recently.

Arnel Cordero dished out a solid double-double show of 17 points and 10 rebounds laced with four assists, two steals, and two blocks for Tofil to become the hands down choice sa Finals Most Valuable Player.

John Gayotin also figured prominently in Tofil’s title run with 14 markers and four boards. Randy Lomera netted all his nine points from beyond the arc, while Patrick Paran added eight points and five rebounds.

Joshua Gayotin and Dexy Suico nailed 11 points apiece, while Richie Bactol scored 10 but their efforts went down the drain for Stopgap.
