Arlon Cup S2 playoffs: Team RUS, 3 others barge into second round
CEBU, Philippines — Team RUS and three others marched into the second round of Hoop Nation’s Arlon Cup Season 2 playoffs at the City Sports Club-Cebu gym.
Feleejo Bongo exploded for 35 points laced with two rebounds and two steals as the RUS squad booted out Cupin Compound, 87-76.
RUS will face Sinai Mountain Resort in the next round.
The Prayboys, Livelux.Life, and Dracones also advanced after knocking out their respective rivals.
The Prayboys sent the Monsters Ballers packing, 75-68, Livelux.Life terminated JSA, 63-57, while Dracones ended the season of JKV, 58-53.
Jay Palco showed the way for the Prayboys with 24 points, eight rebounds, and three assists, Earl Montilla led Livelux.Life with 13 markers, four boards and a steal, while Kline Ochavo topscored for Dracones with 19 points on top of six rebounds and one block. — EBV
