Cebuano karter Go completes grandslam
CEBU, Philippines — Decorated Cebuano go-kart racer William John Riley Go dished out a grandslam feat in the Asian Karting Open Championship at the Cartodromo de Coloane Circuit in Macau over the weekend.
Go missed a podium finish in round 5 after suffering a bad crash, but this didn’t stop him from claiming his third overall title. Go was unstoppable in the first three legs of the series that paved way for his victory in the mini-ROK division.
The Grade 6 student of St. Benedict Childhood Education Center, was motivated in his campaign this year after missing the overall crown last year .
Before winning the Asian Championship title, Go also dominated the IAME Series last October in Le Mans, France.
He then reigned supreme in the ROK Cup, a five-leg race series, last month in Singapore.
