CEBU, Philippines — Jerome Casinillo and Katherine Erickson emerged as the biggest winners in the Run to Fight Scoliosis yesterday morning at the Cebu Business Park.
Casinillo ruled the 12K men’s race in 43 minutes and 36 seconds followed by Morrison Logan, who placed second with his time of 54:08. Zyrone Jartiga settled for third place with 55:39, clocking.
Erickson,for her part, claimed the women’s tiara after reaching the finish line in one hour, five minutes and 13 seconds. Rowena Bejic finished in second place with 1:10:05 followed by Christine Colmenares with 1:12:27, clocking.
In the 6K action, Rinmarch Gonzaga and Aryana Lim dominated their respective divisions.
Gonzaga clocked in 23:59 followed by Fernando Manquilla (25:27) and Armando Teves (33:49).
Lim topped the women’s side with a time of 30:36, while the next two spots were occupied by Riean Quizol (39:22) and Love Rheza Paquit (41:42).
Kirk Lance Alison (11:21), Uniel Degampo (11:57) and Bryan Lomosbog (15:13) were the top three finishers in the 3K men’s , while Jennifer Savellon (16:58) won the women’s title followed by Jenelyn Paragoso (19:19) and Nasil Lao(20:27), who were second and third placers, respectively.
Jessica Primavera stole part of the limelight after winning the 1K Scoliosis Warrior category with her time of 11:14. (FREEMAN)
