Run to Fight Scoliosis tomorrow

CEBU, Philippines — Around 500 runners are expected to join the first Run To Fight Scoliosis tomorrow morning at Cebu Business Park, Cebu City.

Organized by the Scoliosis Philippines Support Group, Inc.- Cebu Chapter, the charity race features the 1K, 3K, 6K and 12K categories.

The charity race is for the benefit of Trixia Leongas, a native of Banhigan, Dalaguete, who is diagnosed with Thoracolumbar Dextroscoliosis with Nash and Moe Vertebral Rotation of the Apex Vertebra. All proceeds will go to Leongas' implantation operation and treatment.

The organizers will also put up a free scoliosis screening booth on the race day.
