CEBU, Philippines - An open chess tournament will spice up the Grand Finals of the National Age-Group Chess Championship (NAGCC) 2017 set on May 6-9 at the Knight Attack Chess Cafe in Robinsons Galleria Cebu.
The three-day tilt offers close to P50,000 in cash prize to the winners, with the champion taking home P10,000. The second to fourth will receive P6,000, P4,000 and P2,000, respectively.
The fifth to 10th will get P1,000 each, while the 11th to 15th will have a consolation prize of P500. The top three lady and kiddie players will pocket P1,000, P600 and P400.
Registration is pegged at P150 for kiddies and ladies and P350 for regular players.
