Chicos United nabs women’s crown

CEBU, Philippines - Chicos United trounced Tabor Hills, 1-0, to clinch the women’s title of the 2017 Cebu International School Friendship Cup-Kyle Weckman and James Jung Memorial Football Tournament yesterday at the CIS field in Barangay Pit-os, Cebu City.

Tabor Hills lady booters bounced back after they grabbed the girls 19 class title.

Giuseppe FC, for its part, emerged to be the winningest team of the tournament with three titles.  Giuseppe FC bagged the mixed under-7, under-9 and under 11 titles.

Suba-basbas won the under-13 title, Sacred Heart School-Ateneo de Cebu ruled the boys 17, while Guardian Strikers secured the boys 19 as San Miguel FC reigned supreme in the men’s BPO/Inter-company title. (FREEMAN)
