CEBU, Philippines - Prince Joey Lee and Annie Balaga shone the brightest in the Pink October Run yesterday at the Cebu Business Park.
Lee topped the 12-kilometer race in 47 minutes and 46 seconds. He was trailed by Joland Olmilla with the time of 47:48 as Rain del Corro came out third in 50:59.
Balaga, for her part, ruled the women’s open with a 1:06:16 clocking. Debbie Cabañero placed second in 1:11:15, while Rezel May Dalinog landed third in 1:12:41.
Jay-R Baclaan was the fastest in the men’s 6K open with a time of 25:46, while Lizane Abella lorded over the distaff side in 25:45.
Bernard Sia emerged as the fastest in the 6K Rotarian class in 32:38. Butch Climaco was second in 34:14 as Edward Teng grabbed the third spot in 36:07. Roxanne Cang (51:18), Marina Coughman (57:57) and Kina Campoy (58:38) were the top three finishers in the women’s side.
Ivan Solis and Beahmer Bayona ruled 6K medical students' category with a time of 31:49 and 1:06:13, respectively, while Russel Ardiente (15:27) and Jennifer Savellon (23:11) reigned supreme in the 3K fun run. (FREEMAN)
