CEBU, Philippines - Cebuano pawnpushers will once again test each other's mettle via the 1st Boss Apo Coffee Club Open Chess Tournament on October 10-11 at the fourth floor of TGU Tower in Cebu IT Park, Barangay Apas, Cebu City.
The two-day tilt that follows a 7-round Swiss system format offers close to P15,000 in cash prize to the top performers, with the champion pocketing P5,000.
The second to fourth placers will receive P3,000, P2,000 and P1,000, respectively, while the fifth to 10 will take home P500 each.
Registration fee is pegged at P150 for kiddies/ladies, P200 for students and P250 for open entries.
