Suzuki-BMR Racing bets sizzle in Shell Talent Cup

CEBU, Philippines - Team Suzuki-BMR Racing collected eight out of the 10 titles available in the Shell Talent Cup at Kartzone Raceway in Brgy.Mabolo, this city.

Mario Borbon won the expert automatic in the 130 underbone and the ‘Road to ARRC’ divisions. He reigned supreme in the "Road to ARCC" class over teammate Bornok Mangosong as Gary landed third.

Mangosong though got the Raider 150 title over Borbon,  while Jesloui Vega placed third.

Borbon snared the expert 130 underbone crown over fellow veteran racers Gary Caneda and Insik Flores. He also outsmarted Mark Capoy and Caneda for the automatic open title. Caneda was able to take away the expert open underbone over Borbon while Flores settles for another third place honors.

Suzuki-Zic-BMR swept the intermediate 160 automatic with Neil Perino on top followed by Simon Solon and the riding nurse John Louie Chan.

Solon got a double victory in the Raider J Fi and novice 160 automatic both against Mangosong.

Aside from the Raider 150 class, Mangosong also went away with the novice 130 underbone title.

Suzuki-Zic-BMR team manager Bobby Mencias came out victorious in the executive division title over his son Paul while Juno Villena landed third.— Caecent No-ot Magsumbol (FREEMAN)
