ALA-Cobra boxfest goes to Bukidnon
CEBU, Philippines - ALA Boxing Gym mainstay Elmo ‘Bisdak’ Traya (7-1, 6KOs) will headline another edition of ALA-Cobra Energy Drink ‘Tunay na Lakas Boxing’ fightcard against Rodel Wenceslao (8-10, 2KOs) tomorrow night at the Freedom Park in Malaybalay, Bukidnon.
Traya, who is on a six fight winning streak, will be tested by the more experienced journeyman in Wenceslao.
In the supporting main event, unbeaten Cebuano Jess Rhey ‘Wamah’ Waminal (5-0, 3KOs) will take on Rowel ‘Merciless’ Garcia (6-16,1KO) in an eight rounder bout.
In the other feature of the slambang show, unbeaten ALA pug Gerard ‘Gecko’ Suico (3-0, 2KOs) will try to protect his unblemished record against General Santos City’s Saddam Barambangan (3-7, 2KOs).
The rest of the card features Melvin Jerusalem versus Rodante Suacasa, Jundel Gregorio versus Ronald Garcia, Michael Estrella versus Jessie Suacasa and Mardie Muana versus Sonny Basanez. (FREEMAN)
