Gumban topbills ALA-Cobra boxing
CEBU, Philippines – ALA Boxing Gym mainstay Melvin ‘Top Gun’ Gumban (17-0, 8KOs) will put his unbeaten record on the line as he takes on Jerson ‘Tuko’ Luzarito (83, 6KOs) headlining the ALA-Cobra Energy Drink: Tunay na Lakas Boxing this Saturday night at the Negros Occidental Multi-Purpose Activity Center in Bacolod City.
Gumban, who hails from Escalante City in Negros Occidental, is coming off an impressive unanimous decision win over former WBO Asia Pacific bantamweight champion Jason Egera last May 31 in Mandaue City.
In the supporting bout, another ALA prospect Juren 'Turbo' Labordo (12-2, 8KOs) will slug it out with Ryan Tampus (11-11, 8KOs) of Bato, Leyte.
