CEBU, Philippines - The weekly MS Motosuit Motocross TV series telecast over CCTN 47 will have a new segment starting this Saturday from 10 to 10:30 am. Replays are scheduled every Sunday from 10:30 to 11 o'clock in the evening.
Billed as MX-R LS or Motocross Rider Life Story, the pilot episode of the show will feature BJ Pepito, one of Cebu's promising riders. It will delve on Pepito's humble beginnings as a racer as well as his motivations that transformed him into a topnotch daredevil despite his age. It will also take up all the trials and challenges he faced before attaining a certain measure of success at this stage of his budding career.
"We really want to present something new to our viewers. With this segment, we hope more Cebuanos would appeciate the beauty of motocross and eventually inspire them to indulge in this kind of sport," said MS Motosuit big boss Lou Ornopia.
"Having a television show entails a lot of effort, but we strongly pushed for it as part of our massive campaign to promote motocross across the archipelago. We want the people from other parts of the country to have a glimpse of the talents of our local riders of world-class caliber," added Ornopia.
This Saturday's special will include some highlights of MS Motosuit's most latest action held in Dinagat Islands, Surigao del Norte. It was the fourth leg of Ornopia's comeback race series this year.
Ornopia went out of the motocross scene for a year, but shot back to the limelight last April due to his flaming passion for the sport coupled with strong public clamor.
For his calendar of activities this year, Ornopia has scheduled a total of six legs spread in different areas of the province. All races under the MS Motosuit Series will be broadcast over CCTN. (FREEMAN)
