CEBU, Philippines - The final tune-up race for the 2014 ASEAN Mountainbike Cup takes place on June 8 in Manlayag-Patag in Danao City.
The event will cater both the downhill and cross-country riders.
Members of the Philippine team are expected to join the event and are set to arrive three days before the competition.
There will be no entry fee for those who have already pre-registered for the big event on June 14-16.
The organizers will provide a free transportation from Danao's Boardwalk to the venue and back.
Those who can't make it on the final tune-up can still practice at the racetrack.
Based on the ASEAN Mountainbike Cup's website, the official practice is set on June 11-13.
The actual battle starts on June 14 featuring the cross-country men and women's juniors, women's elite and open and the men's open.
On the 15th, the cross-country men's master A and B, and the men's elite division will be contested.
The downhill event will have its seeding run on the 14th and final run the following day.
The categories in downhill include the men and women's juniors, men and women's open, and the master A and B. (FREEMAN)
