Cebu set to host Phil-Asia bodybuilding

CEBU, Philippines - The 3rd Philippine-Asia International Bodybuilding Championships will take place in Cebu on August 8-9 with no confirmed venue. The event is a NAC Universe qualifier, which is set this November in Germany.

The categories to be contested are the men's physique, women's shape/bikini, women's figure, men's masters, mixed pair and athletic, Mr. Athletic Open and novice open.

The top performers will receive cash and other prizes, while the overall champion will earn a ticket to the prestigious NAC Universe.

Height and weight classification in this Workout Fitness Center-organized event is scheduled on the morning of August 8, while the pre-judging will be done in the afternoon in Mactan Island.

Entry fee is pegged at P2,000 inclusive of a welcome party and victory dinner among other perks.

Organizers can also arrange hotel accommodation at a very reasonable rate for out-of-town participants.

For foreign entries, registration fee is pegged at US$100 inclusive of a room accommodation, posing trunks or 2-piece bikini, souvenir T-shirt, meals, bus service and certificate of participation.

Non-athletes who want to avail of a hotel accomodation with their bets can also avail of the special package.
