CEC holds basketball tryouts

CEBU, Philippines - As part of their early buildup for upcoming developmental tournaments as well as the regular season of the Cebu Schools Athletic Foundation, Inc. (CESAFI), the Cebu Eastern College (CEC) Dragons are holding tryouts, Mondays to Fridays from 5 to 7 pm at the CEC gym.

CEC athletic coordinator John Maraat said they are in the process of scouting players in three levels — juniors, passerelle and SBP (elementary).

The extensive tryout will handled by former PBA cager Mark Tallo. The training director of Online Basketball Camp, Tallo is also one of the assistant coaches of the Southwestern University (SWU) Cobras.

Tallo will be assisted by CEC coach Rodmark del Rosario and the rest of his staff.

Those who are promising and skillful enough to be admitted into the CEC basketball program will enjoy full athletic scholarship and other perks.
