4 Cebu booters to train in UK

CEBU, Philippines - Out of the 10 young Cebuano booters who passed the initial tryouts for the national Under-11 squad, only four of them made it to the final 22-man lineup that will go through a three-week educational and training camp in Longborough, United Kingdom.

They are Josh Rupert Asignar, Tristan Karl Enad, Yuan Josemari Rena, and Charles Unabia - all from the Don Bosco Technological Center (DBTC). They will depart for UK on August 23 for the once-in-a-lifetime experience arranged by the British Council.

The four are so thankful to their school for excusing from their classes considering the number of days that they will be gone.

This was made possible after the Philippine Football Federation (PFF) sought the help of the Cebu Football Association (CFA) in explaining the matter to the parents and the school regarding the duration of training.
